OB Neville R Knight

Malcolm Carroll has sent me this email - Many thanks, Malcolm.

Dear Tony,

I have just received a note informing me of the very recent death of Neville Knight. He was a Chorlton High School boy, and perhaps the best British photographer of miniature railways. I knew him quite well, and he took photos of my locos when we were in UK. He produced at least one very good book, used as a standard historical work in the miniature world. He was much older, and did National Service, so we never met at school. He was an unflappable, mild-mannered man of great charm.

If you would like to put the news into the site, I am sure someone will be able to remember him.

Love to you and Fin,

M, J and TT xxx=

I am saddened to hear of the loss of yet another of our group.
